Author, Lindy Lindemann, has set yet another precedent in her charming Kicklighter Shadow and Beeples Children’s Book series. Lindy, a highly talented poet, has applied her poetical abilities to adorable and value teaching children’s books.

The books take the children into a world of fairies and elves and little people called Beeples. The compelling messages of sharing and caring for all creatures’, great or small just permeate these adorable books. With wonderful illustrations by David White, “The Beeples Birthday Bash” is about Kicklighter Shadow, the zoo-keeping elf gathering all his friends and fairies to help him celebrate the birthday of the special Beeples who he has nurtured and cared for since they were born in dew drops on a rose.

The basic values of kindness, caring, and reaching out for dreams, which children of four through six are so open to, are illustrated in all the characters of the party goers and it’s a great event that will never be matched. I can’t imagine even an adult not being moved by Lindy’s talents as a poet and a lover of children and God’s little creatures.

Uniquely, the author provides inexpensive guides and recipes for creating a Beeples Birthday Bash for all children fortunate enough to be given this book by caring parents, grandparents and relatives. I was so touched by it; I immediately procured one for my five year old grand-niece.

The book also has pictures to color and games to play at the party that will not tax a family’s budget. I highly recommend this enchanting little Beeples Birthday Bash to anyone who cares about children, even if you donate it to schools, Sunday Schools, Pediatric Centers at hospitals or day care facilities.

Lindemann, such a charitable person, herself, is donating all proceeds from her book sales to various animal shelters, and Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Fl, Inc. that funds “Our Mother’s House” which serves single mothers and their preschool children who would otherwise be homeless.

The children and the readers have been given a special gift by a special lady, Lindy Lindemann. As her editor, I’m honored to have worked with such a caring and uplifting person. Thank you, Lindy.
